About Me

My name is Kaela Marie.

I'm an aspiring writer. I'm a singer and a visual learner. I love comfy chairs, star wars pajama bottoms, raspberry tea and a good book.
If you give me rain or snow, a sweater and hot chocolate, I'll be a happy Kaela.


I'm one of those people who has a lot of thoughts and ideas jumbled together in my head, and when I try to voice them they come out all tangled up. Kind of like my hair, they curl over each other and interlock, resisting even an inch of movement. But with a pen in my hand, or with keys beneath my fingertips, they untangle themselves. A cease-fire ensues, and the jungle of thoughts pour out of me easily, splashing onto the page like melted honey, staining it with me. It's like a leaf falling to the ground, without fail, every year. It's like smelling a salty sea-breeze as it mingles with your senses, tickles your nose.
